Screening & Progress Monitoring Assessment
Screening Assessment
The purpose of a screening assessment is to gather quantitative information about an individual’s current skills, academic levels, and/or current indicators or symptoms. Screening assessments are provided in conjunction with consultation and the results provide additional context for clarifying concerns and can help guide the next steps.
The rate for a screening assessment is $350 but may be higher or lower based on the nature of the request, individual needs, and the scope of the assessments administered. The exact cost is determined before assessments are administered.
Progress Monitoring Assessment
Progress monitoring assessment is a method for measuring a student’s rate of progress toward goals and/or evaluating the effectiveness of an intervention or program. Brief targeted assessments are administered at regular intervals (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and the results are charted and analyzed for growth. The specific assessments administered are individually determined based on the student’s specific profile, needs, or goals. Progress monitoring assessments are provided within the context of a plan of ongoing support in conjunction with ongoing consultation. These assessments can also be useful as part of a “continuity of care” plan following a comprehensive evaluation to update the student’s current skills, academic levels, symptoms, and/or rate of growth.
Ongoing progress monitoring assessments are provided within the context of consultation or coaching and the cost varies based on the scope and frequency of the assessment plan. The exact cost is determined before assessments are administered.
