Consultation for Students & Families

Consultation provides support to students and families as they navigate school, learning, the special education process, or higher education. Support is designed to provide clarification, resources, educationally relevant recommendations, and suggestions for the next steps.

Short-term, long-term, and "as needed" support is provided through:

• Interview and discussion sessions

• Informational sessions

• Sessions to review evaluations, school-based records and assessments, and/or special education records;

• Screening assessments for students

• Developing plans for support and progress monitoring

• Preparation and/or in-person support for school meetings

• Connecting with other resources and professionals

The specific services provided are individually determined based on the need and the nature of the request. 

The rate for consultation is $125/hour
